• Nanomaterials fabrication, characterization, and applications.
• (Scanning) Transmission electron microscopy and high-resolution lectron microscopy of peroveskite materials. Microstructure and morphology of thin films and bulk ceramics. Domain behavior and domain boundaries in ferroelectrics. Structure and chemistry of lattice defects in films and in multi-layer systems.
• In situ TEM investigations on energy materials related to solid oxide fuel cells.
